Heubach, Germany


City description and overview

Heubach is a small town situated in the district of Ostalbkreis in Baden Wurttemberg, situated in Germany. The town is siutatued in the edge of the beautiful river valley of Rems and right at the base of the Swabian Alps, making it a perfect spot for spending a nice quiet vacation. Heubach is located in the Swabian region of Germany, and the people speak the Swabian German dialect. Mogglingen and Bobingen an der Rems borders the town on the north. Essignen borders it on the east. Barthomola borders it on the south and Schwabisch Gmund borders it on the west. The town itself is a small one, in terms of area, with an expanse of just about 26 square kilometers. It has a low population of just about 10 thousand people.

Weather and best time to travel

Heubach is situated to the south of Germany and has a more pleasant climate. However if you wish to travel to Heubach, the best time is from May-October. Post October it starts snowing and the number of visitors keep dropping as temperatures reach well below -100c. One of the most famous travel destinations in Heubach is the Rosenstien Castle. It attracts a lot of visitors throughout the year and is one of the first places you should visit once you are there. The castle ruins of the Castle of Rosenstein give very impressive view on the whole region, especially being situated on the top of the Rosenstein Mountain. This has become a very famous tourist spot.
